How To Create A Gorgeous Centerpiece With A Feed Store Bucket

I have been wanting a galvanized bucket for so long! I just love the look of a bucket full of fresh clippings or florals adorning a table or a kitchen counter. Although not practical to actually sit around and eat, it truly makes for a beautiful photo!

I searched for my galvanized bucket for some time. I wanted it to be of substantial size which in most places came with a hefty price tag. I found this 6 gallon steel pail at our local Tractor Supply Company for under $20. I love it. I just need to leave it outside for some time so it gets nice and weathered.

For this tablescape scene I kept things simple. I wanted the bucketed tree branch to be a bold focal point. Using foliage, whether garden clippings, flowers, or faux florals for your center piece is one of the most beautiful ways to anchor your tablescape. Two glass oil dispensers bring in some warm color and a large white throw pillow on the bench ties in with the white of two farmhouse style soup bowls on the table.

Who would guess I would find the most gorgeous napkin rings at Hobby Lobby! They are made of marble with magnificent veins and specks of color. I used some of the rings on my grandmother’s hand-embroidered napkins and they added such a lovely touch to the tablescape. For additional detail and color, I placed some rings by themselves on the table. The decorative books add height and dimension to the aesthetic.

Later afternoon my camera catches the warm glow through the metal mesh of my antique bronze pendant light, setting the ambiance for a delightful meal.

I can imagine a fine wine accompanied by French onion with fresh bread dipped in herb-infused olive oil. Beautiful music in the background and the dearest of friends around the table. Although my real day-to-day paints a different picture with screaming children making messes, it is nice to dream…
